Listen, I had high aspirations for this website at one point but it’s been years now and it’s clear I’m not doing much with it. For a variety of reasons.
I don’t want to just let the domain registration lapse and have it go to some weird spammy site. If you’re a queer person who is interested in it, send me a message via the contact form with some stuff about you and your thoughts for what you’d do with the site and maybe I’ll pass it on to you (for free/you’d just have to keep paying registration fees.)
I let my website hosting lapse so butchonbutch.com went away. I’m currently in the process of picking a new webhost, restoring from backups, and then probably/hopefully tinkering with the site a bit.
In the meantime I’m setting the domain to redirect here (because it was free/quick/easy to set up) instead of that annoying “this account has been suspended” page. And there’s always the archived version on archive.org if you’re curious. I need to rework some of the language (and clarify the intent/focus/audience) for a lot of reasons. The site was a product of the circles I moved in at the time, but for the record, I am very skeptical/cautious about lumping butch women and transmasculine folks (particularly men) together at this point, for reasons including those touched on here.
